This policy covers the HT DeskBox desktop organizer for Windows.
Data collected
HT DeskBox does not collect, store or share any personal data with third parties. The app does not connect to the internet and contains no usage statistics, advertising or tracking components.
Information stored on your computer
The app's settings (box names, positions, view preferences) and its error log are kept only on your computer, in the application data folder of your Windows user profile. The files you put in boxes stay in folders on your computer; the app never sends them anywhere.
Permissions
The app runs as a full desktop application so that it can move desktop files into the box folders you choose, show the Windows context menu and use global hotkeys. These actions are performed only at your command and locally.
Uninstalling
When you uninstall the app, its settings are removed as well; the files in your boxes are not deleted.
